My mind is swimming in time-zone arithmetic: country codes, new front-door passwords, airport acronyms, foreign change. In 2008, I had different phone numbers for every language I speak and moved 10 times between two Aprils. I can now recite back exchange rates and immigration laws for multiple countries, and overcome over jetlag with just three small pills. I don’t even get sick on planes anymore.
In 2010, I resolve to only haul my life up 5 flights of stairs if I know I won’t have to leave until at least a year later. And eat more vegetables.
